In 2006 I was diagnosed with very early stage breast cancer. I had surgery and was no never have to worry about cancer in the breast as the breast was now gone. Who would have thought that 12 years later, I would be proven wrong with stage 4 breast cancer. There is no cure, but I keep kicking its butt and plan on living for a long time. I have had so much support from my family and friends and from Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Foundation. I could not continue to push ahead without all this support. On October 2nd, I will be carrying a torch to light the way for all those affected by Breast cancer while supporting this amazing organization that has been there for me and so many others like me.
