My journey…..
April 2022 my life was changed. I was diagnosed with IDC, a form of breast cancer. Even in this moment it still doesn’t seem real. It has been a whirlwind of Drs appointments, surgery, scans and now Chemotherapy. I will say this has been hard…..Chemo kicks your ass! When you think it is turning a corner and getting better it floors you again! It has been caught early so many others aren’t in this situation. I am blessed even in this moment. I have an amazing support system, and a boyfriend who is my strength when I don’t have much left to give. I’m posting this now because along this journey I have met some amazing people and found a fabulous organizations that is here for us in this uncertain time. Gloria Gemma foundation is heaven sent. They provide so many services for us. Early detection in breast cancer can save your life, so be your own advocate, be vigilant with your screenings. Also, a group of us will be doing the Gloria Gemma race this year and would love your support. You are also welcome to join our team in October, our name is Together We Can 🙏🏼❤️
