it’s so hard to believe that i’m almost reaching my 4 year remission!! having stage 3 aggressive ductal carcinoma breast cancer that spread to my lymph nodes and going through a year of chemo followed by a year of radiation, double mastectomy, 21 lymph nodes removed, hysterectomy, all followed by a partial stroke…it’s a pure miracle im still here today. it may have been the worst two years of my life… but i would not let this disease and the statistics take me from watching my children grow… out of all the bad days i had… my kids made sure to give me some fun, loving silly days as often as my body could take it.
