Here we are.

Last year me and the kids walked in the Gloria Gemma Flames of Hope 5K in memory of one of our favorite people, Miss Christina! Well we’re doing it again, but this year it’s going to hit a little different….

In January of this year, life threw us another curveball & I received my breast cancer diagnosis, invasive ductal carcinoma. Words that no woman ever wants to hear, let alone a solo parent to two young kids. I will never say it was easy, there were definitely a lot of tears along the way, but we took it one day at a time and I am thriving! I couldn’t be more thankful for my amazing village for all of the love and support along the way. My journey isn’t quite over, but there is finally light at the end of the tunnel.
