Diagnosed at age 39 in October 2025 with IDC I have made it my mission to empower and support others affected by breast cancer, to stand by them in their time of need.
I recently completed my active treatment of surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation. The Pink sisterhood is strong! I’ve met and reconnected with some of the most kindest and thoughtful women who have gone through this journey and were there for me so I didn’t have to go through this alone. People’s generosity gave me hope during the scariest time of my life. Many people don’t realize how much organizations like this help women during their darkest chapter. I am choosing to turn pain into purpose. I want to help women the way I was helped. I remember feeling terrified, and I remember how comforting it is to talk to women who have gone through it. It provides the feeling hope and thats what this is all about.
My family and friends showed up in ways I could’ve never imagined. Their support was unwavering. This experience has changed the way I look at the world. It has strengthened my faith in God and humanity. I no longer choose to live in fear. I choose to spread loving-kindness wherever I go.💗
