May 24th, 2026 marked exactly 3 years since my bilateral mastectomy. I fought, and I won! Navigating life after cancer has been one of the hardest parts of this journey. ​Every single day, medications like Exemestane and monthly Zoladex injections force my body into medical menopause. Living with constant bone pain,hot flashes, intense mood swings, and sudden forgetfulness has been incredibly challenging. There are days when it is simply hard to feel comfortable in my own skin. ​To my friends, family, and coworkers who have shown me endless patience, grace, and understanding as I navigate this "new normal" and strive to be the best version of myself AC (after Cancer). Your support means the world to me. ​Why I am giving back: The Gloria Gemma Foundation ​When the physical and mental weight of this journey gets heavy, my absolute lifeline has been the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation. ​It is so much more than just a building. It is a community of people who truly get it. It’s a safe space where I can speak from the heart without ever feeling like I'm complaining or being a burden.
