I have been a torch bearer at Flames of Hope for the past 2 years but carried a torch for the first time back 2014.... and WOW! It was an incredible experience full of COURAGE, FAITH, DETERMINATION, STRENGTH and HOPE. These words can be seen on the front of the statehouse lit up in pink. If you've never attended this free event, come on out and be inspired by 150 torch bearers and see the RI Ballet perform.

This year is extra special for me as my oldest son Casey will be carrying a torch beside me as we celebrate and honor those affected by breast cancer.
