Hello everyone!! This is my fourth year participating in the flames of Hope touch ceremony. Most of all of you know my story and how it all began back in 2020 being diagnosed with inflammatory breast cancer TN stage III. Since then, I have gone through chemo, a single mastectomy and radiation to then to be diagnosed with metastasized brain cancer only 7 weeks after I finished radiation. After that I went through the procedure gammon knife radiation surgery where it attacked and shrunk the tumor in the ocular sector of my brain. I have continued to be closely monitored with MRIs, CT scans and bone scans along with regular visits with my oncologist, radiation oncologist, and neurologist. I’m still fighting, living every day blessed….it’s been a long road and I still have a road ahead of myself. I continue to fight, pray and stay on top of all of my health. The ceremony and Fundraiser is very important to me and has been for the last four years. The special feeling inside of me of just the presence to participate in this ceremony is beyond words that I could ever explain. To all of you that have supported me from day one of my diagnosis and those of you who I have met along the way, thank you so much for always being there, supporting me and showing me so much love! Thank you.
