Flames of Hope is incredibly close to my heart and soul. Gloria Gemma has given me a home to know I am not alone. Fellowship in the battle of breast cancer is more important than I could ever have imagined, on top of the support and love of my beautiful family and incredible friends.

I was diagnosed in March of 2019 and received a partial mastectomy lumpectomy, with 6 and a half weeks of radiation therapy every day and what was supposed to be 5 years of chemotherapeutic treatment of Tamoxifen, which stopped shortly after I developed 2 PE’s that went to my lungs after reviving a hip replacement in September of 2020.
This year is 5 years cancer free for me, and I pray that trend continues. :)
