This October feels different. It carries the weight of everything I’ve survived and the light of everything I’ve reclaimed. I’ve decided to raise money to become a Torch Bearer — to honor the fight, the scars, the fear, the resilience, and the miracle of being cancer free.
A HUGE milestone 5 years cancer FREE!
In 2021, at 39, I heard the words Triple Negative Breast Cancer, BRCA1 positive. What followed was chemo that broke me down, surgeries that reshaped me, radiation that burned, and a hysterectomy that closed one chapter so another could begin. October is the month I got my life back.
