As a breast cancer survivor, carrying the Torch of Hope is deeply personal. It represents strength, resilience, and the light that guided me through one of the hardest journeys of my life. I carry this torch not only to honor my own story, but also to remember those we have lost, celebrate those who continue to fight, and inspire hope in everyone impacted by cancer. As someone who has dedicated my career to caring for patients in a Breast Health Center, I have witnessed the courage of so many individuals and families facing cancer. Today, I carry this torch for them, for my fellow survivors, and for future generations. It is a reminder that even in our darkest moments, hope continues to shine. Being chosen to carry this torch is an incredible honor, and I do so with gratitude, compassion, and the promise to keep spreading awareness, hope, and the message that no one has to face cancer alone.
