The Gloria Gemma Foundation is committed to helping support the minds, bodies and spirits of those affected by breast cancer with free wellness and education programs.

My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer when I was a sophomore in high school. Fortunately she survived her diagnosis and I was able to enjoy an additional seven wonderful years with her. Unfortunately there were complications due to her treatment and she passed away five years ago during my senior year at Rhode Island College as I was working towards my teaching degree.

I am fundraising to carry a torch in her memory this October. I will be one of 150 torch bearers made up of women in treatment, survivors, families and caregivers. All walkers commit to raising $650 to participate in this incredible event. I can easily accomplish this with your donation. You can also leave a message for me about why you decided to donate. I’d love to hear from you! Your support will make a difference to the Foundation and inspire hope and courage in those affected by breast cancer.
