This year, as a breast cancer survivor, I will carry a torch at the Illumination of Life WaterFire ceremony—an honor earned through my fundraising efforts, and one that represents hope, strength, and remembrance for breast cancer awareness.
I would be so grateful for your support of the Flames of Hope Torch Fundraiser. Any donation, big or small, truly makes a difference. Your generosity helps provide comfort, resources, and hope to individuals and families facing cancer.
Cancer has changed my life in ways I never expected. Some days are still filled with fear, exhaustion, and uncertainty. But through it all, I was surrounded by love and support — from my husband and daughter, my close and extended family, friends, our dance family, and my coworkers. Every text, phone call, meal, visit, prayer, token of support, and moment of encouragement reminded me that I was not fighting alone. That love helped me keep going on my hardest days.

💖 Join Our Team for the Gloria Gemma 5K Run/Walk! 💖 Save the date! We’ll be at the Gloria Gemma 5K on October 4 at 10:00 AM at the RI Statehouse in Providence — walking, running, and raising hope for cancer patients in our community. ✨ Team registration is coming soon! ✨ We’re getting ready to officially register our team and are still looking for members AND a fun team name, so now’s the perfect time to jump in. Good news: we’ve got all spring and summer to get ready, so whether you train hard or just show up with good vibes, you’re welcome 😄 Let’s turn the city pink and do some good together 💕
This beautiful ceremony will be held on the backside (stairs side facing the mall) of the RI State House starting at 6:30 pm. Friends and family are encouraged to gather around the State House to witness the event.
I’m thrilled to share that I have officially become a Torchbearer for the 2026 Illuminations of Life Torch Ceremony! Thanks to your incredible support, I reached my fundraising goal, which allows me to carry a torch at this meaningful event.
